PROGRAMME OVERVIEW: –

The Bachelor of Optometry (B.Optom) is a comprehensive undergraduate program designed to develop skilled primary eye care professionals. As per the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions (NCAHP), the program follows a 5-year structure (4 years academic + 1-year compulsory internship) ensuring standardized and competency-based education across India.

Semesters:10 (8 Academic + 2 Internship)
Total Training Hours:~6000 hours
Internship:1 Year Rotatory Clinical Training

  • 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics
