AARAMBH

Commencement & Orientation Programme

AARAMBH marks the beginning of a student's journey at ARKA JAIN University. Designed as a comprehensive induction and orientation programme, it introduces newly admitted students to the University's academic ecosystem, multidisciplinary learning environment, campus culture, support systems and opportunities for growth. Through interactive sessions, expert engagements, peer interactions and carefully curated activities, students become familiar with academic expectations, digital and learning resources, student services, clubs, committees and the skills required to navigate university life with confidence. AARAMBH helps students connect, adapt and begin their journey with a strong sense of purpose and belonging.

OUTBOUND PROGRAMME

Building Bonds Beyond the Classroom

The Outbound Programme is a specially curated one-day engagement experience for first-year students of ARKA JAIN University, designed to foster bonding, collaboration and a strong sense of belonging at the beginning of their university journey. Facilitated by professional external trainers, the programme engages students in a series of experiential activities, team challenges and interactive exercises that encourage communication, trust, leadership, problem-solving and teamwork.

ROO-B-ROO

Freshers' Welcome Function

ROO-B-ROO is a vibrant welcome extended by senior students to the newest members of the ARKA JAIN University community. The event creates an engaging platform for freshers to connect with peers, interact with seniors, showcase their talents and feel at home in their new environment. More than a welcome celebration, ROO-B-ROO encourages confidence, creativity and meaningful connections while identifying emerging talent for participation in cultural and student-led initiatives throughout the academic year.

NAVOTSAV

Celebration of Heritage, Culture and Festivity

NAVOTSAV is a vibrant celebration that brings together the values associated with Gandhi-Shastri Jayanti and the festive spirit of Navratri. The event commemorates the contributions of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri while creating a dynamic platform for cultural expression and student participation. Spread across multiple days, NAVOTSAV features creative, literary and performing arts activities such as rangoli, debate, declamation, dance, music, fashion showcases and other competitions. The celebration culminates in spirited Dandiya performances, bringing the University community together in an atmosphere of culture, creativity and festivity.

ROSHNI

Celebration of Lights

ROSHNI is ARKA JAIN University's celebration of the festival of lights, bringing together creativity, entrepreneurship, teamwork and festive spirit. The event provides students with opportunities to participate in engaging activities, student-led initiatives and entrepreneurial experiences. Beyond celebration, ROSHNI encourages students to explore ideas, collaborate with peers and gain practical exposure through participation and execution. TECHNIKA

Annual Technical Fest

TECHNIKA is the annual science, technology and innovation fest of ARKA JAIN University. It provides a dynamic platform for students to demonstrate technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, creativity and innovative thinking. Featuring competitions, exhibitions, project showcases, expert interactions, workshops and technology-driven challenges, TECHNIKA encourages students to move beyond theoretical learning and engage with real-world applications. HACK HORIZON

Annual National Hackathon

HACK HORIZON is the annual national-level hackathon organised by the School of Engineering & IT at ARKA JAIN University, bringing together tech enthusiasts, innovators and problem-solvers from across the country for an intense 24-hour challenge of ideas, coding and innovation. The 24-hour innovation marathon culminates in expert evaluation and the announcement of winning teams, recognising solutions that stand out for their ingenuity, relevance and impact.

SHIKHAR

Entrepreneurial Conclave

SHIKHAR is ARKA JAIN University's entrepreneurial conclave, designed to inspire ideas, encourage enterprise and connect students with the dynamic world of entrepreneurship. The conclave brings acclaimed entrepreneurs and industry voices to the University, offering students valuable exposure to real journeys of innovation, leadership, resilience and business creation. Through business pitches, interactive engagements and student-led stalls, participants showcase ideas, test concepts and demonstrate their entrepreneurial abilities. CAARVAN

Annual Outbound Experience

CAARVAN takes learning beyond the classroom through curated outbound experiences and educational excursions. Organised during the academic session, these journeys expose students to diverse places, cultures, environments and real-world contexts. Through planned visits, group activities and experiential engagements, students develop adaptability, teamwork, observation and a broader worldview. CAARVAN combines exploration with learning, creating memorable experiences that contribute to students' personal and social development.

YUVA

University Youth Festival

YUVA is ARKA JAIN University's Youth Festival, celebrating the energy, creativity and potential of young minds while promoting the rich indigenous and local culture of Jharkhand. Inspired by the ideals of Swami Vivekananda, the festival encourages students to demonstrate intellectual, artistic, oratory, leadership and creative abilities. HOLI INVASION

Celebration of Brotherhood and Togetherness

HOLI INVASION is ARKA JAIN University's vibrant celebration of colours, togetherness and campus spirit. RUNBHOOMI

Annual Sports Meet

RUNBHOOMI is the Annual Sports Meet of ARKA JAIN University, celebrating fitness, competitive spirit, teamwork and sportsmanship. Students representing different Schools and Departments compete across a wide range of sporting events, demonstrating skill, discipline, endurance and team spirit. Annual Cultural Fest

JAIN PREMIER LEAGUE

Inter-School T20 Cricket Tournament

JAIN PREMIER LEAGUE is ARKA JAIN University's inter-school T20 cricket tournament, created to promote young sporting talent and strengthen engagement with the school community. The tournament brings together participating schools from Jamshedpur and surrounding regions for an exciting display of skill, strategy, teamwork and sportsmanship. Through competitive cricket and spirited participation, JPL provides young players with a prominent platform to demonstrate their abilities while experiencing the sporting culture and vibrant environment of ARKA JAIN University.

SARASWATI PUJA

Celebration of Knowledge and Learning

Saraswati Puja at ARKA JAIN University is observed with devotion, cultural spirit and a shared reverence for knowledge, learning, music and the arts. Students, faculty and staff come together to seek the blessings of Goddess Saraswati and celebrate the values that lie at the heart of education. PHARMATEK

Annual Pharmacy Conference-cum-Showcase

PHARMATEK is the annual Pharmacy Conference-cum-Showcase of ARKA JAIN University, bringing together academicians, professionals, researchers and presenters from across the country to exchange ideas and perspectives on contemporary and emerging issues in pharmacy and healthcare. The event combines expert deliberations and knowledge-sharing with active student participation through project presentations, working models, academic exhibits and other scholarly engagements. FASHION FORWARD

Annual Fashion Showcase

FASHION FORWARD is the annual fashion showcase of the Department of Fashion Design at ARKA JAIN University and has emerged as one of the city's most talked-about fashion events. At the heart of FASHION FORWARD are the graduating students, who unveil original collections developed through their academic journey—from concept and design development to garment construction and final presentation. Their creations are brought to life on the runway by professional models as well as student participants, offering an industry-like showcase experience. More than a fashion show, FASHION FORWARD reflects the Department's emphasis on creativity, learning by doing and professional exposure.

RUKHSAT

Farewell Function

RUKHSAT is ARKA JAIN University's heartfelt farewell to graduating students as they prepare to move from campus life to the next chapter of their personal and professional journeys. Organised with warmth and enthusiasm by junior students, the event celebrates friendships, shared experiences, achievements and memories built over the years.
